Refund and cancellation
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy explains how to cancel a Nihao School membership and how refunds work. It applies to memberships bought through the app.
1. Who sells your membership
Nihao School memberships are sold through Paddle. Paddle acts as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues the receipt, handles applicable taxes and appears as the seller on your payment statement. Paddle's checkout terms apply in addition to ours.
2. Cancelling your subscription
A membership renews automatically until you cancel it. Email sekih0907@gmail.com from the account email address before the renewal date and ask us to cancel it. Cancellation stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not by itself refund a payment that has already been taken; see the next section.
3. Cancelling before deleting your account
If you want to delete your account, cancel the membership first by emailing sekih0907@gmail.com from the account address. Cancellation stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the paid period. The account can be deleted once the membership has ended; the Profile page blocks deletion while a subscription is still active so that recurring billing is never left running without an account. If you need the account deleted sooner, say so in the same email: we can cancel and end the remaining access immediately, with any refund handled under §4.
4. Refunds
The refund window is 14 calendar days from the date of each payment. If you ask for a refund within that window, we will request a full refund through Paddle to the original payment method. This includes initial purchases and subscription renewals. Eligibility is based on when you submit the request, not when we reply. Paddle processes the refund; the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
5. How to request a refund
Email sekih0907@gmail.com from the account email address. Include the Paddle order or transaction id if you have it, the date of the payment and what went wrong. We reply within 14 calendar days.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may try it again. Email sekih0907@gmail.com if you need help with a payment or your membership does not open after a successful payment.
7. Disputes with your bank
If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first so we can look into it. This does not limit your right to dispute a payment with your bank.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page. The version that applies to a membership is the one published when you bought or renewed it.
